The new Assassin's Creed movie trailer has all the stabbing and an air assassination
Time to jump back into the Animus. There's a new Assassin's Creed movie trailer and you can get your Eagle Vision on even more Spanish Inquisition action. If you've missed it so far, Michael Fassbender is in dual roles with dual hidden blades as both the 21st century dwelling Callum Lynch and 15th century Aguilar. As we discovered last month, the historical sequences in the Assassin's Creed movie are all in Spanish and this trailer makes a big deal about welcoming Michael Fassbender to the Spanish Inquisition.
Watch it below...
We knew that the modern day Assassins probably weren't going to be cooped up in Abstergo for long, but there's plenty of shots proving that here as Lynch, Moussa and an Assassin called Lin all get seriously violent on the guards. There's a little more action from the Spanish Inquisition too. Assassins Aguilar and Maria do plenty of spinning and stabbing and we even get an air assassination, a game staple.
Directed by Justin Kurzel and starring Michael Fassbender, Marion Cotillard, Ariane Labed, Michael K. Williams, Jeremy Irons, and Brendan Gleeson, Assassin's Creed opens in US theatres on December 21, 2016 before opening in UK cinemas on January 1, 2017.
