This enjoyable deadpan comedy from Argentinean writer/director Martin Rejtman deftly explores the impact of the country's economic crisis on a group of middle-class Buenos Aires residents. With the idea of emigration becoming ever more inviting, its array of obsessive characters engage in get-rich-quick schemes and pursue a variety of faddish health treatments and physical fitness programmes.
Refusing to glamorise his capital city, Rejtman astutely blends social commentary with droll humour. There's also an engaging central performance from Gabriel Fernández Capello asthe bemused taxi driver with a passion for disco-dancing.
