The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword release window announced
Probably no better way to say “Happy 25th birthday” then by announcing the latest in the Zelda series
DuringNintendo%26rsquo;s press conference at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles, a big deal was made of the Legend of Zelda franchise%26rsquo;s 25th anniversary, including a live orchestra playing music from the series. The crowning jewel of this milestone? The Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword, finally has a definite release window.
Though no specific date was nailed down for the motion-plus-enabled action/adventure, a holiday 2011 date was mentioned by Zelda forefather Shigeru Miaymoto after a brief retrospective of the series during the company%26rsquo;s press event. New video was seen of Link and Zelda flying through the air on birds before being tragically separated.
Miyamoto also introduced a new Zelda themed gold Wii Remote that will accompany the game, giving you yet another piece of gaudy plastic to clutter your room up with. No details on the price for this shiny little guy.
Nintendostill hasn%26rsquo;t announced an exact date, but we%26rsquo;ll let you know as soon as they do.
