The Kraken Rum Edible Autopsy

EVENT HORIZON: Miss Cakehead and The Kraken Rum prepare for Halloween with the corpse of a Kraken

The Black Ink Society, a Kraken Rum-supported team, has recovered and secured the remains of a Kraken found off the North Kent coast. It has now been revealed that an autopsy on the remains took place aboard the sea vessel X-Pilot in view of Redsand Forts where the beast was found - nine miles off the coast of Kent in the Thames estuary – on Thursday 17 October.

Several parts of the Kraken were brought on board the ship for further investigation which included a giant eye...

Okay, it was the work of Miss Cakehead and the eye was white chocolate eye filled with The Kraken Rum. You'll remember The Kraken Rum as the sponsors of our chums at Pornokitsch . Now as part of its public outreach programme, The Black Ink Society will share the autopsy results at Feed The Beast, an event at Miss Cakehead’s infamous pop-up Halloween cake shop. The shop can be found at The Rag Factory (16-18 Heneage Street, which is just off Brick Lane) this weekend, from 25–27 October, 11.30am – 6.30pm.

Treats on sale in the space are set to include festering mouth-of-Kraken cupcakes and drowned sailor hands.
