The Hobbit Production Video #9 released: watch now
Watch the crew work on goblins, trolls and digital beards
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits cinemas in December 2012, and to ratchet up excitement levels further, Peter Jackson has released another production video - the ninth in the series.
The latest video covers an enormous cross-section of the production process as a whole, taking in music, editing, pre-vis effects, foley work and new-fangled beard capture technology (yes, really).
If you look closely, you'll get new glimpses of troll trouble (hear them speak!) and goblin warfare, as well as an understanding into how you make the hideous Goblin King look 'beautiful'.
A rough animation suggests that there are going to be some incredible set-pieces to play up to the three-dimensional visuals of The Hobbit .
As always, PJ and crew make it look like the most fun job on earth.
