The Darjeeling Limited to close London Film Festival!
Wes Anderson's latest classic hits London
We've already got overexicted about the LFF's opener, but the Fest's finale has us even more keen to make the long journey to the big smoke - Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited.
Why, it's as if the gods of film are smiling on us, 'cause we were only complaining that we'd have to wait 'til 2008 to see it and now we only have to hold on 'til 1 November (after watching all of the other ace films that're sure to be there).
Oh, and then there's the fact that Wes Anderson himself is going to be making the trip. In addition to bringing the Festival’s 16 day celebration of cinema to a close, Anderson will give a career interview as part of its TCM Screen Talks series. Which is pretty bloomin' brilliant if you ask us.
Festival Artistic Director Sandra Hebron said: “Wes Anderson and his knockout cast are at their sparkling best in The Darjeeling Limited and we're very excited to be closing our Festival with this original and hugely enjoyable film from one of our favourite auteurs.”
