Gallade is an alternate evolution of Kirlia. Gardevoir, the previous final destination, wears a flowing dress beneath her locks of silky green hair... not the most masculine of forms for a male Pokémon, even by Japanese RPG standards. Thanks to the power of the Dawn Stone, these biological embarrassments can be corrected before they happen, transforming a male Kirlia into a gallant, significantly more virile defender of truth. Gallade's arms double as blades, and it learns one of the only physical Psychic-type attacks, Psycho Cut. In addition to this powerful new mental attack, it learns a variety of other powerful abilties, many of them blade-themed, supported by sound Attack and Special stats. Like Meditite and Medicham, who sport the same type combination, Gallade is protected from some of its usual Psychic-type weaknesses, but exposed to a variety of others.
