One of the weirder one-off Pokémon in the first Pokémon adventures was Tangela, an ambulatory tangle of vines. Apparently Tangela came from a sturdier breed of kudzu millennia ago, and it can revert to this prehistoric state when it learns AncientPower. Tangrowth is an even bigger wad of vines, doing all of the same things Tangela did, only bigger.
