The Assault on Dark Athena segment is not only the chance for Starbreeze to show off its new technologythat's currentlybeing used in the impressive The Darkness, but it's also an opportunity to beef-up the original story. It’s an episodic expansion of the Butcher Bay plot that will show off the aftermath of Riddick’s escape as well as develop his dramatic relationship with his pursuer Johns.
There’s more too, as this remastered edition of Escape from Butcher Bay will also pack in the extra missions and DVD-style extras of the Developer’s Cut edition released on the PC - including the extended mech missions and the brand-new survival arena. Combat in Escape from Butcher Bay was always impressive - one move enabled you to knock a shotgun from a guard’s hands, spin it round and blow the guy’s head off in one swift, John Woo-style move.

Just don’t call it eFootball, or it might bring tears to his eyes for the ISS glory days on PS1.
