The 2011 BAFTA nominees are announced

The Golden Globe awards were given out at the weekend, and now BAFTA have announced the nominees for the 2011 ceremony.

The nominations for the Orange British Academy Awards were announced by actors Dominic Cooper and Talulah Riley and BAFTA Chairman Tim Corrie this morning.

Unsurprisingly, none-more-British period drama The King's Speech picked up a whopping 14 nods, with Black Swan and Inception nabbing 12 and 9 respectively.

It's also nice to see Pete Postlethwaite get some recognition for his supporting role in The Town .
