Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hands-on
The heroes in a half-shell return
You can play as each of the four turtles, and each has his own weapons and combat expertise. The Turtles will also be able to team up for extra combat fun, and so far the game appears to be a fisticuff-heavy whirl through hordes of enemies. Interestingly, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles uses Prince of Persia's Jade engine - so not only does the game look sweeter than a Bush Baby sucking a lollipop while fluttering its eyelashes, we're expecting some hardcore, death-defying acrobatics.
Ubisoft says the Turtles will be able to leap from rooftop to rooftop, scale tall buildings and dive into sewers (sounds charming), so let's hope there's plenty of acrobatic awe to offset the constant fighting - the Konami games ended up being a bit repetitive in the long term. As of now, it's all looking quite promising.
