Tarantino making spaghetti western with Christoph Waltz?
Could be his next film
Quentin Tarantino is taking his time deciding how to follow up Inglourious Basterds , but it’s sounding more and more likely that his next film will be a spaghetti western.
Ain’t It Cool News have been doing some digging, and have discovered that Tarantino is hoping to shoot his western later this year in Italy and Spain.
Not only that, but he’s reportedly cast his insanely-awesome, Oscar-winning villain from Inglourious Basterds in the film, with Christoph Waltz handed a part.
This all comes on the crest of an interview with Italian actor Franco Nero, who spoke with Movieplayer and revealed that the film will be called The Angel, The Bad And The Wise , and would contain “humour, lots of action, but also a great plot”.
Nero’s comments have been called into question by AICN , whose sources tell them that odd title is nowhere close to Tarantino’s real one.
Hopefully soon Tarantino will clear all of this up himself. But from what we’ve heard so far, we’re already screaming “yee-haw!” in excitement.
