A new look at Wolverine’s new costume in X-Men: Days Of Future Past has arrived online, thanks to the latest cover of Studio Ciné Live magazine.

The new snap shows Wolverine in the all-black outfit that seems to be de rigueur for mutantkind in the film’s future timeline.

There’s also a look at the past and future incarnations of Xavier and Magneto, all of whom look suitably grim in the face of possible extinction…

Wolverine’s positioning at the front and centre of this little ensemble demonstrates how Hugh Jackman will once again be one of the key players in the new film, with Wolvie taking the place of Kitty Pryde as the X-man sent back in time.

Directed by Bryan Singer and co-starring James McAvoy, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender and Ian McKellen, X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in the UK on 22 May 2014.
