13 more episodes of the (vaguely) Stephen King-based series due next year
Having helped the US Syfy Channel to its most successful summer ever in terms of viewers, Haven has been given the official greenlight for a third season of 13 episodes next year. (And don’t forget, we also get a Christmas special this year too, which for some perverse reason is set in July…
The show, which is very loosely based on the Stephen King novel The Colorado Kid – and has a far more intriguing arc plot than its bizarre freak-of-the-week plotlines – has been reaching over 2.5 million total viewers every week. Warehouse 13 , Eureka and Alphas have been achieving similarly impressive figures.
It is, of course, set in Maine, and stars Emily Rose (also a fan fave as the voice of Elena Fisher in the Uncharted games, Lucas Bryant and Eric Balfour ( Skyline ).
