Blaxploitation hit its stride in this supercool 1972 thriller, a movie that's far easier to dig than the previous year's Shaft. Ron O'Neal stars as Priest, a drug dealer who plans to "stick it to The Man" by completing One Last Job™ that'll set him up for life. Naturally, the ghetto's finest pimps, hookers and corrupt white coppers are out to bring him down. Wallowing in audacious style and boasting a ridiculously funky score, this badass B-movie is a key film of '70s blaxploitation. Not hard to see why.
