Stunning game that we'd forgotten all about still looks stunning. Have a look for yourself. Be stunned

You know that feeling when you put a bottle of cold beer in your coat pocket for safekeeping but you forget that it's there and then five minutes later you think, man, I could really do with a cold beer right now and you suddenly find it again and think it's the best day of your life? That's how I felt this morning when I found Fez was all over the internet again. I had known about Fez. But had completely forgotten of its existence. Now it's back in my life and I feel like I've swallowed sunshine.

It's hopefully coming out later this year as an XBLA game. It's already won some stuff for looking beautiful and arty. This brand new gameplay video from PAX East will do a much better job of explaining what Fez is all about. So watch it:

How good does it look? Yes. Very. I love games that look like old games but actually a million times better. Fez reminds me A LOT of Nebulus, which I used to play on my C64 back when I was knee-high to a circus dwarf. This is what Nebulus looked like in 1987. In my head it looked just as good as Fez looks now. But obviously it didn't.

Anyway, Fez. You have left magic sparkle dust in my eyes once more. I promise I will never forget you again.

I don't have the energy to really hate anything properly. Most things I think are OK or inoffensively average. I do love quite a lot of stuff as well, though.
