Star Wars Pinball developer demo

“Great ramp shot, kid! Don’t get cocky.” That’s the faux Han Solo quote we hope to hear when delving into Star Wars Pinball, the newest DLC addition to Zen Pinball 2 and Pinball FX2. After knocking it out of the proverbial park with the Marvel Comics license, Zen Studios has finally gotten the go-ahead from LucasArts to work on a series of Star Wars-themed tables. Check out the first three of a planned ten in our developer demo, where we rack up points on the Empire Strikes Back, Clone Wars, and Boba Fett tables:

As you can see, each table is packed with movie references, with official art and voice samples from your favorite set pieces. It’s also fantastic that Zen Studios isn’t limited to rote rehashing of each movie--the freedom to make a table revolving around Boba Fett is sure to please new and old Star Wars fans alike. Whether you’re a pinball Padawan or a combo shot Jedi, these intricate, beautifully designed tables will absolutely tickle the Star Wars fan in anyone. You’ll be able to download the initial three tables when they're available for download on app stores, PSN (with Cross-Buy for PS3 and Vita), XBLA, and PC later this month. That sound you’re hearing is millions of voices crying out in joy, at the prospect of chasing leaderboard high scores using Force-controlled flippers.
