What to do with Vashtan Wolfe in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
How do you get at Vashtan Wolfe's secret in Jedi Survivor?
Vashtan Wolfe in Star Wars Jedi Survivor is hiding in a cave in Koboh early on in the game, but there's benefit to being there if you show up too early. Like many locations in Jedi Survivor, this is somewhere you want to come back to later on when you have new abilities and powers that change what you're capable of doing. We'll explain what upgrade you need for Vashtan Wolfe's cave in Jedi Survivor below and how you can get it, as well as what the loot reward is - but spoiler warning, it's not great.
What to do with Vashtan Wolfe in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
You'll find Vashtan Wolfe in a cave near the the Derelict Dam area on Koboh. He's in a small cave with a locked door and there's a ledge you can reach with a wall run. On the ledge you'll find a crate with some Anodised Metal BD-1 material and this blue sparking mechanism, which you won't be able to do anything with until much later in Star Wars Jedi Survivor:
Ignoring Vashtan's comments about a treasure "right in front of you", you need to play through the main story to reach one of the key Jedi Survivor Force Powers, abilities and upgrades: the Electro Dart, which you'll retrieve from a crashed Imperial Shuttle.
With this upgrade, BD-1 can fire shocking darts which can power up the sparking devices shown above. Use an Electro Dart on the device in Vashtan Wolfe's cave to open the locked crate on the floor below. That will get you a Two Tone weapon material for your efforts and your real reward - a boss fight with Vashtan Wolfe.
Defeat Vashtan and you'll tick off another boss. The door however (which Vashtan presumably appears from while you're checking the crate), doesn't open. Despite the message that it's 'locked from the otherside', it doesn't appear on the map as an entrance - crucially, it's not marked red, which denotes a door you can't open yet, suggesting it's a door you can't open at all.
