Star Wars Battlefront has myriad cinematic battles to participate in, sure, but it all comes back to C.R.E.A.M.: Credits Rule Everything Around Me. Fortunately, you can start racking them up ahead of time in Base Command, the mini-game included in Battlefront's companion app.
It's a lightweight turn-based strategy game, and it's actually a decent bit of fun beyond the joy of socking away credits for future Star Card purchases. As the name implies, Base Command puts you in charge of a besieged Rebel base, and you'll have to use your own custom deck of power-ups and units to stave off Imperial attackers.
You can play on Star Wars Battlefront's companion app (which is available now on iOS and Android) or in your browser. As long as you link it up with your EA account - and make sure your EA account is linked with your system - you should be good to go once Star Wars Battlefront is released on November 17 in North America and November 19 in Europe.
