Star Fox Zero is set to lift off on April 22, 2016, Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct presentation today. The not-a-sequel, not-a-prequel, not-a-remake (Nintendo has dismissed all of those terms when discussing the game) was also shown to feature a new flying mode for the Landmaster tank, called "Gravmaster."
This means that, like the classic Arwing - which can now transform into a chicken-like Walker mode - the Landmaster can also swap between modes. The Gyrocopter is the only vehicle in Star Fox Zero that doesn't seem to have a transformation, though it does carry with it a small robot that can be deployed to reach areas the larger vehicles cannot.
