Stan Lee teases "different" cameo in X-Men: Apocalypse
Stan Lee has been one of Hollywood's most prolific cameo-makers of the last decade or so, with over 20 appearances in Marvel movies under his belt. However, according to the man himself, his appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse promises to be a little different…
"When you go see the next X-Men movie when it comes out and see my fantastic cameo, you will say, ‘I remember he told me about it here,'" said Lee at Comic-Con over the weekend. "It’s a different cameo in that it has one additional thing in it. And if that doesn’t make you go see X-Men, I’m wasting my time."
Lee's cameos have usually been humorous, throwaway moments, so could this mean his appearance in Apocalypse will have a little more dramatic significance? It would certainly change it up a little, even if the the man does possess an impeccable sense of comic timing… Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse will open in the UK on 19 May 2016 and the US on 27 May 2016.
