SPOILERS: New Star Wars 8 set shots show aliens and costumes

The Star Wars Episode 8 filming in Dubrovnik is currently leaking shots and pics like a well oiled machine. If you want to avoid spoiling anything about the new film then I cannot really emphasis how much you don't want to read on.

Seriously, I'm going to leave dancing Vader here so there's no way you can accidentally see anything and get sad.

Okay, sure? Then let's go. First up we have the images from Making Star Wars (also more here). The big thing there is what's being called 'the space horse.'

You can only see the head there on the right and there's a distinct tauntaun-like look to it. The prop animal was apparently pulled along by a tractor and while the consensus seems to be that John Boyega was definitely riding it as Finn, people seem unsure if he was joined by Daisy Ridley's Rey, or recently cast newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.

There's also these pictures showing of a couple of aliens:

As well as those, Instagram user ivapiva86 seems to have free run of the place and is just snapping everything. This was apparently a few pics she took of some "scenes that were in middle of taping that we walked by."

Iva's also been snapping some of the Star Wars Episode 8 set shots we've seen before.

Directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Laura Dern, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Benicio del Toro, Star Wars: Episode 8 opens on December 15, 2017.
