The whole of Hollywood turned out for the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens last night, and despite everyone being asked repeatedly to not tweet, talk or really do or say anything about the film, some people just couldn't resist.

Directed by JJ Abrams and starring Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released in UK cinemas on December 17, 2015 before opening in US theatres a day later.
