Spider-Man 2 isn't only web-slinging its way to the dizzy heights of the top of the charts for a second week, it's breaking records at the same time: the game has managed to pull off the highest UK sales week ever for any Activision title. Lucky them.
Apart from that juicy morsel, it's been a very quiet week for full-priced games, with no new major releases. However, a plethora of budget titles (mainly from EA) has made an impact on the lower reaches of the top 20, with the excellent Tiger Woods 2004 performing the best out of this group by re-entering at 15.
Nintendo's NES Classics provide the only new entry to the top 20 in the rather beautiful and legendary form of Super Mario Bros. It may have only managed to squeeze in at 19 but it's enough to bring a tear to our retro eye. Truth is, it's still a brilliant game 20 years on from its original release. How many of the titles in the current charts do you think would still be breaking into the top 20 two decades from now?
