Spider-Man 2 and THUG 2 confirmed for PSP
Activision sign up to deliver a pair of PSP launch titles
While Nintendo continue to reveal ever more weird and wonderful games for their forthcoming handheld the DS, Sony conversely appear to be sticking to more familiar territory for the initial line-up of titles for their PSP.
To that end, it's just been confirmed that Spider-Man 2 and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 - both from Activision - will be part of PSP's line-up of launch titles. "SCEA's PlayStation Portable Entertainment Platform is an exciting new platform that combines processing power with a sleek new look that will appeal to an older demographic," reckons Activision president Kathy Vrabeck.
"By matching our top brands like Tony Hawk's Underground 2 and Spider-Man 2 with the new entertainment device, we are able to broaden our consumer base and leverage our franchises into new areas."
The PSP version of Tony Hawk's Underground 2 is currently being developed by Shaba Games while Spider-Man 2 is being coded by Vicarious Visions.
