A lot of video games promise toput youin the action, but Sony Computer Entertainment America is taking it one step further by letting one lucky winner actually appear as a human character in the upcoming Resistance sequel.
All you have to do is send in a picture of yourself. Okay, there's a bit more to it than that - Sony wants you to dress up in your best "Resistance battle themed costume," in an apocalyptic environment that looks like something you'd see in the Resistance franchise. Props, scenery and/or sets are strongly encouraged.
Each entry must also contain a brief statementexplaining why you'd make the perfect "extra" in Resistance 3. One winner will receive a trip for two to San Diego, including airfare and two nights at a hotel (though the winner may still have to pay airline fees as well as tax on the hotel room).
The prize also includes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the studio of developer Insomniac Games. Once there,Insomniac will take a facial scan of the winner to be immortalized in the game as a human survivor.
You don't have a lot of time. The contest closes on March 11, so be sure to visit your local Post Apocalyptic Scenery And Costumes R Us as soon as possible.
The contest's entry form is available at http://us.playstation.com/resistance3getinthegame/
