Silent Forest: Zone 1
Red Star Ring 1: From the starting point, grind the rails over the murky water directly in front of you. Keep to the right and jump to the raised path at the end of the area. You should see a gold cannon nearby, but don't use it. Instead, hit the boosts and be directed to the first Red Star Ring.
Red Star Ring 2: After destroying the large spiders and hitting the next checkpoint, hop across the flowers directly in front of you. When you come to a fork at a tree, hop across the red flowers on your left to be launched to the Red Star Ring.
Red Star Ring 3: This one is also found near the checkpoint immediately following the spider battle, but instead of hopping across the flowers, run over to the underside of the area, with the spiky balls. The Red Star Ring is on the right side as you pass through.
Red Star Ring 4: After the second group of large spiders is destroyed, grind across the rightmost set of rails and find a bell at the end. Follow it across the area (including past a laser field) to recover the next Red Star Ring.
Red Star Ring 5: During the last grinding segment just before the end of the level, the final Red Star Ring is on your right.
