Smooth gameplay in the latest shooters is within reach with NVIDIA GeForce NOW
If you love PC gaming but want more flexibility to play your games whenever and wherever you want, NVIDIA has a solution. Using NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, you can play a ton of games you already own from major game stores like Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect, and Origin, and it lets you do so on all sorts of different devices.
Since the heavy computing is done in the cloud, you can benefit from serious power available at an affordable price. You’ll be able to dominate the battlefield in the latest shooters with high-quality graphics and smooth gameplay that doesn’t require you to constantly tinker with settings just to get the game running well. And, you can do it without breaking the bank upgrading components of your own PC, since GeForce NOW is available as an affordable subscription. So, not only are you getting access to a high-performance computing platform, but you’re getting that access wherever you go. Here’s a look a what GeForce NOW makes available to you with an affordable subscription:
If you’re a big Apex Legends player, you’ll find that NVIDIA GeForce NOW gives you access to the free-to-play title whether you want to play on your phone, computer, TV, or tablet. The service is all geared up and ready for Apex Legends Season 12: Defiance, too. You’ll be able to drop into the game's new 9v9 mode and battle for control without any downtime thanks to the mode's unlimited respawns — a great way to learn the new character, Mad Maggie. You can take time to practice your skills in the shooting range during your commute to school or work, play casual matches on your LG smart TV when you’re relaxing at home, or even dive right in for competitive matches on a Mac or PC enjoying support for 1440p and 120 FPS games with the RTX 3080 Membership, which gives you supreme power in the cloud.
If you prefer shooters with a sprawling open world and compelling narrative, Far Cry 6 is also available through GeForce NOW. You can really dive into the lush game world of Yara with NVIDIA’s RTX real-time ray tracing technology offering stunning lighting and DLSS boosting performance. You’ll also be all ready to go for the new Far Cry 6 Joseph: Collapse DLC, which sees you head back to Far Cry 5’s Hope, Montana, to play as that game’s antagonist, Joseph Seed. You’ll battle your own inner demons and confront your wicked family members as well. With RTX and DLSS, you’ll be able to experience Hope, Montana, in an all new light, too.
Those two games are far from the only options you’ll have for shooters to enjoy on GeForce NOW. You can fight monsters galore in Rainbow Six Extraction and the just-released Dying Light 2—don’t forget to turn on RTX in the latter title to see just how much that technology can change game visuals. GeForce NOW also has you covered for exploring the neon-lit Night City in Cyberpunk 2077, which looks stunning with RTX On and stays smooth with DLSS. Or, you can also give all-out war a go with Battlefield 1 Revolution and Battlefield V both on offer.
NVIDIA GeForce NOW is available to try for free, but you can get some serious benefits from paid memberships. Priority gives you six-hour play sessions and lets you run at up to 1080p/60 fps and enable RTX On in supported games. With the RTX 3080 Membership, you get eight-hour sessions on a rig with a dedicated RTX 3080, enabling RTX On as well as gameplay at up to 1440p and 120 fps on Mac or PC to get a leg up on the competition as well as 4K HDR on NVIDIA SHIELD TV. With capabilities like that, you could game on a modest laptop at higher fidelity than a lot of dedicated gaming PCs and you’ll have an easy time getting into the game while everyone else is trying to optimize their graphics settings.
