SmackDown! vs. Raw goes multi-platform
WWE wrestlefest to break console barriers in November
The game's full roster has yet to be announced so, aside from John Cena and Rey Mysterio (who you can see in these first-ever screenshots), the line-up of characters is currently something of a mystery.
So while we're still waiting to hear about exactly which Raw and SmackDown! performers will make the grade, we're fully expecting all the usual suspects - such as the Undertaker, Triple H, Randy Orton, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, Edge, Chris Benoit and the divas - to be making an appearance. We're also hoping for an additional cast of WWE legends.
Graphically, the game appears to be taking a significant step forwards, especially with the level of detail visible on each character - check out Rey's tattoos or John Cena's, erm, veins. (We don't yet have PS2 or PSP screens, but clickhere for close-ups of the next-gen version.)
We're hoping to be able to play SmackDown! vs. Raw 2007 for the first time at the E3 games show in May.
