Six brilliant new posters for Frankenweenie
Tim Burton pays homage to the classic monster movie
Frankenweenie has released a brand new batch of movie posters, which take their cues from the classic monster movies of old, complete with lurid taglines and a host of ghoulish creatures.
The film follows the exploits of young Victor as he experiments with the process of resurrection on his recently deceased pooch, Sparky.
When his science project turns out to be more successful than he ever could have dreamed, word soon gets out, and before long his home town is being stalked by all manner of recently-deceased pets.
Some of these zombie animals are featured on the new posters, with a Were-Rat, Mummy Hamster, Vampire Cat and Giant Turtle all getting their moment in the spotlight.
Directed by Tim Burton and featuring the vocal talents of Winona Ryder, Martin Short and Catherine O’Hara, Frankenweenie opens in the UK on 17 October 2012. In the meantime, you can check out the new posters below…
