Sean Connery’s first new film in a decade is, sad to say, a stinker.
This distinctly amateurish animation may be targeted at tots, but you’d have to particularly hate your children to inflict on them this tale of an elderly vet (Connery) trying to save a missing beaver.
Developed from a short, it’s a 20-minute narrative rattling around in a 76-minute frame.
Not only is it boring, but the animation would embarrass a PS2, and the character design looks like it might have been conceived during a power cut.
Unless you’re a hardcore Connery completist, avoid.
