Sony belts out another one
Sony dropped us an emailand it's going to be music to the ears of aspiring crooners. For those who found the gritty edge of songs like "Love Shack" and "Rocket Man"from SingStar Rocks too in your face, SingStar Pop is here sporting an impressive roster of inoffensive radio-friendly pap. We applaud Sony for finally combating the public humiliation ofAmerican Idol auditions by giving the people the opportunity to vocallyembarrass themselves in the privacy of their own homes.
SingStar Pop comes packed with twomicrophones which you can deftly employ in the team-based Pass the Mic mode or in Duets. And we should also mention that the game isone of the few remaining reasons to kick the dust off of the old EyeToy USB camera. The game streets on April 3rd, and until then check out the track list below to fill your heart with song.To date, not a single member of the GamesRadarstaff has made it through a rendition of "Sk8er Boi"without sobbing like an orphan on Christmas, but hey,welove a challenge.
