Lindsey Balbierz, BFA Illustration
"Lindsey Balbierz shows how a Sims player can become anything they wish in the game. In this case the 'user' can become both female and animal, giving the image a 'freak show' quality as bird-woman."
Tyler's take: These appear to be preliminary sketches for an illustration meant to be finalized as a Giclée (ink jet) print. Given the crudeness of the roughs, all we can tell is that the piece is poorly designed and the artist has never played The Sims.

After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
