Shia LaBeouf turned down The Social Network
Leading Hollywood upstart rejects significant roles
Star of Transformers 3 , Shia LeBeouf, has revealed that he turned down leading parts in The Social Network and 127 Hours .
He also walked away from talks to feature in future blockbusters The Bourne Legacy and Rise of the Planet of the Apes .
Shia told Details magazine "I'm looking for Warren Beatty-type game changers."
By turning down David Fincher’s Facebook epic and Danny Boyle’s intense survival thriller, LaBeouf has missed out on three Oscars, seven Golden Globes and numerous other cumulative accolades.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes is the upcoming prequel to Planet of the Apes and, like 127 Hours , stars James Franco (rumours that Franco is LaBeouf’s secret understudy are as yet unconfirmed).
The Bourne Legacy will be the fourth instalment in the Bourne saga with Jeremy Renner ( The Town ) replacing Matt Damon in the titular role.
