Shadow Complex Remastered runs and guns on Xbox One today, will hit PS4 in May
Shadow Complex was an early success for downloadable games on Xbox 360 back in 2009, and now you can explore its labyrinthine paramilitary facility on Xbox One. Shadow Complex Remastered is available for $14.99 / £11.99 on the Xbox Store, after being made available free for a limited time on PC back in December.
Shadow Complex Remastered layers refined visuals on top of the Metroid-inspired, side-scrolling shooter. It also adds new Achievements and Master Challenges, as well as"dynamic melee take-downs" so you can really sock it to those, um, secret subterranean left-wing militia members.
If you don't have an Xbox One and you don't want to buy Shadow Complex Remastered through Epic's PC store, you'll have to wait a while longer to play: Epic plans to launch the game on PS4 and on Steam in May.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
