The painful truth: After Neelix, the Star Trek bosses seemed to think every ship had to have some grinning buffoon on board. Phlox’s main crime against sanity is his annoying habit of saying every sentence like he’s reciting Humpty Dumpty Sat On A Wall. Although his smug Chris Tarrant demeanour was just as bad.
