See Voyage Of The Dawn Treader Concept Art
totalfilm.com rates pics from the next Narnia
The Dawn Treader herself
What we like: It's got a massive dragon's head on the front of it. Dragons are ace (more of that in a minute).
What we don't like: It's a bit, well, tubby, isn't it? It doesn't look very sea-worthy to us. But then the last time we tried to discuss wardrobes with a lion, it just roared at us, so maybe this thing isn't meant to be realistic.
Shadow of the dragon
What we like: It's a dragon's shadow. Which a) would be an awesome name for a hair metal band and b) increases Narnia's cool points by approximately 9. That's a lot of cool points.
What we don't like: Shadows are ace, but a shot of the dragon that made the shadow would be better (more of that in a minute, too).
Lucy looks for the Magician's book
What we like: This is pretty much how we imagined this bit when we read The Dawn Treader when we were nine.
What we don't like: When we were nine, we didn't have that much imagination. Now we've seen Harry Potter, we want living paintings and floating staircases and stuff.
The Dragon's jaw
What we like: Dragon's are ace, we really can't state that enough.
What we don't like: What the Aslan is going on in this shot? Fair enough, it comes from an animatic on the Prince Caspian DVD, but we need details! We want a proper look at the dragon's mush next time, please.
