Home is where you build it...
EverQuest Next Landmark looked pretty interesting out of the gate, giving players the ability to build whatever fantasies their minds could dream up. Unfortunately for me, I have a terrible imagination. When I got my hands on the game, all I could manage was a little house with a roof and four walls. And it took me about an hour, at that.
When I came back to the game about a month later, the works of art I saw caused my jaw to hit the floor. People had taken the simple tools available to them and created everything from architect-designed homes to airplanes to the Eiffel Tower. And just a reminder, all of this was created in EQ Landmark's Alpha state. The game is intended to enter closed beta on March 26, and I can't wait to see what players will think up next.
