Second Tron: Uprising trailer online

Fleshes out Disney's TV series, voiced by Elijah Wood

Comic-Con attendees were the first to get their peepers on the latest trailer for Disney's animated TV series Tron: Uprising , but the same footage has now been released online.

Taking place between the events of the original Tron and the recent Tron: Legacy , the 10-part CG series cast Elijah Wood as the young program Beck.

The plot sees Beck mentored by Tron to become a leader in the revolutionary fight against Clu and his military commander General Tesler.

This latest trailer offers fans a wealth of conceptual art, character promos and backgrounds from the computer world of The Grid.

Plus, Tron is voiced – as you'd expect – by Bruce Boxleitner. Other cast members for the show include Lance Henriksen and Mandy Moore.

Tron: Uprising will air in the US this summer on Disney XD.
