Sebastian Stan was "speechless" after watching Captain America: Civil War
Along with I suspect many, many others, I am very excited for Captain America: Civil War, and the recently released trailer has only served to increase the hype. While most of us still have to wait a couple months to see the movie, the cast have already seen a cut of Marvel's next superhero offering.
Sebastian Stan will be reprising the role of Bucky Barnes a.k.a. the Winter Soldier in Civil War, and while he was promoting The Bronze Stan revealed to Collider that "I walked out of [Civil War] speechless, and I worked on the movie and I was there!" Check out the video below for Stan's full thoughts...
It's easy to be a bit cynical about this - nobody working on a movie is going to come out and trash it before release (unless you're Josh Trank and that movie is Fantastic Four) - but Stan's comments are perfectly in line with everything we've seen and heard about this movie so far. Here's hoping we're on the edges of our seat too when Civil War is finally released.
Directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, and starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey, Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Holland, Anthony Mackie, and Sebastian Stan, Captain America: Civil War opens in UK cinemas on April 29, 2016 and May 6, 2016 in the US.
