Sebastian Koch and Miranda Otto sign on for Homeland season 5
Details were recently announced about the fifth season of Homeland, and now there is word of a couple of new cast arrivals, with Miranda Otto and Sebastian Koch set to join the ensemble.
The new season will see Carrie living in self-imposed exile in Berlin, with events picking up two years after those depicted in series four. Koch will play Otto During, a German philanthropist and Carrie's new boss, while Otto will play Allison Carr, Berlin's Chief of Station and Saul's number two. Laura Sutton has also joined the cast as an American journalist, while Jonas Happich will play Carrie's latest love interest.
The fifth season will run for twelve episodes, with Claire Danes, Rupert Friend, Mandy Patinkin and F. Murray Abraham all returning to reprise their roles. The new series will make its bow in the fall, with a specific air date to be confirmed.
