After his slightly dicey green card joke at the Oscars, Sean Penn is back on safer ground with a new trailer for The Gunman, the latest action spectacular from Taken director Olivier Megaton.
The new film sees Penn play a professional killer who finds himself drawn out of retirement when he falls into the crosshairs of his old employers, who are busy “cleaning house”.
Cue an orgy of explosions, car-chases and gunfights, as Penn decides the best way to resolve his dilemma is to come out shooting.

Directed by Megaton and co-starring Mark Rylance and Jasmine Trinca, The Gunman will open in the UK and US on 20 March 2015.
