Welcome to the weekly SFX bargain hunt! Once again we’ve wandered the interweb looking for all manner of sci-fi bargains for you to blow all your hard-earned cash on.
Next up, Thunderbirds are go with this DVD Collection of the classic puppet series featuring all 32 episodes of the show. Yours for only £14.99 from Play.
Last week we brought you An American Werewolf In London at a bargain price £3.99 from Amazon and this week we’re bringing you another chance to see the gorgeous Jenny Agutter in action, which is never a bad thing. Miss Agutter and the release of In Time in cinemas this week gives us the perfect opportunity to mention another film in a similar dying-young vein: the excellent sci-fi classic Logan’s Run , available from Amazon for just £4.29 .
Still hankering for scares even after Halloween? How about some classic horror? This Hammer Horror Collection could be just the thing. The set features 21 sci-fi and horror classics from the '60s and '70s for £26.69 from Play. That’s, like, £1.20 a film or something. Bargain!
Last week we brought you a Batman Begins/The Dark Knight double pack on Blu-ray and this week we’re evening the balance for the DVD dinosaurs out there with news that Asda are selling the same (less the shiny Blu-ray bits of course) Nolan Batman double-pack on DVD for £7 in store. Also to be grabbed at yoru local Asda is season one of The Vampire Dairies for £14, if you like that sort of thing.
HMV also have a big sale on, with over 1300 DVDs from £2.99 and over 1000 Blu-rays from £7.49, so there’s bound to be something for the sci-fi fan in that lot. HMV also have a load of box sets from £9.99 included in this sale. With over 2000 items on sale we haven’t had time to hunt through and find specific things but we’ll endeavour to highlight some sci-fi bargains hidden among the rom-coms and pointless remakes over the next few weeks for you.

Random bargain of the week this week is this shiny Millennium Falcon Haynes Manual for half the RRP at £7.50 . With over 120 pages of full colour cut-aways and technical diagrams this is just the thing for the spice smugglers out there wanting to keep their ships running smoothly.
