Sci-Fi Bargains Of The Week

More merchandise at rock bottom prices for these harsh economic times. Round-up by Steven Ellis
Welcome to the ever vigilant SFX bargains roundup. Once again we’ve trawled the net for sci-fi bargains that just might interest you. First off, we’re going to mention these two pages over on Play again. The Price Massacre we reported last week is still on for horror DVDs and Blu-rays, click here for DVDs and here for Blu-rays . They probably won’t get to you in time for Halloween but with prices starting at £2:99 for DVDs and £4:99 for Blu-rays there’s still plenty of bargains to be had.
If you’d rather have these on DVD then MovieMail has Season 1 for £15:49 and Asda is selling Season 2 in store for £14:97 . Both sets are well worth the money with action and battles galore, there’s still the odd bit of boring politics here and there but the good far outweighs the bad with this show. If only the prequels had packed this much punch.
With the groovy X-Men: First Class being released on Monday (available to pre-order from Amazon for £9:97 ) you can get the best of the rest of the X-Men films with this X-Men/X-Men 2 double pack from CDWow for just £3:49 . We’re sure X-Men 3 is available in a bargain bin somewhere. Next to X-Men Origins Wolverine .
Random bargain of the week comes to us from the forum’s Count Libido who found a selection of Ghostbusters related T-shirts going for £6:99 over at Play . Who you gonna call?
Thanks to everyone who posted suggestions in the forum this week. If anyone else out there spots a sci-fi bargain that they want to share then please pop over to the forum and mention it in the relevant thread. As ever the thread for movie bargains is here and this thread is for TV bargains . Keep your eyes peeled for great offers for your fellow geek and maybe your find will be in the bargain list next time.
