You like Doctor Who and Transformers ? And we all want to save money don’t we? Get the best deals when we buy stuff? Well, step this way. I’ve got something that might be of interest to you… I’ve got the SFX Friday Bargains round up. Come this way…
First this week we have a few things from Amazon’s bargains of the week; they have the recent Rocky with robots movie Real Steel on DVD for £6.47 .
If you’ve been wondering what all the commotion about geek friendly comedy Community is all about, you can find out for yourself; the complete season one is available on DVD for £11.97 .
Some classic Doctor Who next with three tales from the Tom Baker era. The Sun Makers can be bought on DVD for £8.70 , The Seeds Of Doom is available for £6.39 and City Of Death is just £5.49 .
We also spotted some of Jon Pertwee’s adventures as well; Colony In Space is £8.97 and Day Of The Daleks is priced at £8.49 .
More classic sci-fi TV from the BBC next with The Tripods series one and two on DVD . You can play spot the tripod for just £7.03 .

Again from the BBC, the recent adaptation of Douglas Adam’s quirky detective Dirk Gently is available on DVD for £12.99 . The set contains all three episodes of series one as well as the pilot.
The recent Fright Night remake is available from Amazon on DVD for £5.99 and also on Blu-ray for £9.99 . You can pick up the 1985 original film on DVD for just £3.29 .
Spooky comedy next with the X-Files for kids show Eerie, Indiana . All 19 episodes of the series can be yours on DVD for £9.99 .
In Asda this week we saw a selection of triple play films including Sherlock Holmes, Aliens Anthology, Super 8 and Cowboys and Aliens , all for £10 each. Also on Blu-ray there was Predator for £12 , the extended cut of Avatar for £10 and Spider Man 3 for £5 .
On the DVD front we found RoboCop, Blade and Armageddon for £3 and Sucker Punch, Jumper, Let Me In and The Road for £5 each. Asda also had Matt Smith’s new film Clone for £9 and aliens in Russia invasion film The Darkest Hour on DVD for £10.
Over in Morrison’s Midnighter saw Alien, Alien 3, Predator, Predator 2 and Aliens v Predator on Blu-ray for £7 each.
A few finds from the forum next. First we have Silver Fox 67 who found the Final Destination Quadrilogy boxed set on Blu-ray for £10.95 and also on DVD for £6.95 . Fox also told us about Akira on Blu-ray for £5 , The Day After Tomorrow on DVD for £4.98 , Super 8 on DVD for £3.95 and Stardust on Blu-ray for £7.79 .
Kevinj spotted Doctor Who’s Ace Adventures for £14 in his local Asda. Buffster had news of Zavvi having a clearance sale on, including Fringe season 3 for £ 9.95 .
Over to the random selection now and first up Play has a selection of Game Of Thrones themed T-shirts. They have men’s shirts available from £12.99 each and women’s T- shirts £15.99 each. Some of the T-shirts are available in this two for £20 offer, along with plenty of other sci-fi and fantasy themed items to tempt you.
Zavvi has a 3 for £20 offer on gift ideas such as this salt and pepper robot set, this wind-up Dalek and these Transformers Airhedz. The Airhedz inflatable dress-up range include Megatron , Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee .
And while we’re on Transformers tat check out these wind up Eggbods . As with the Airhedz it’s the most popular characters which you can get, but this time with an eggy variation; Eggtamus Prime, Bubble Egg and Eggatron can be yours for £4.99 each.
Another find from Silver Fox 67 next with this Captain America bobblehead on sale for £4.99 .
Finally for this week we have a screwdriver with a difference… It lights up and sounds just like The Doctor 's multipurpose tool, but is actually a fully functioning screwdriver! With changeable Philips/flathead and various sizes of head, this Sonic Screwdriver can be yours for £9.99 .
