Schneider takes a Stan
Deuce Bigalow to direct his first film
And lo, the voices of a thousand people screamed in unison. Okay, so maybe we’re overreacting to news that Rob Schneider will direct for the first time. And the Deuce Bigalow movies weren’t that bad. Were they?
Still, the synopsis of his chosen directorial debut doesn’t exactly have us clutching our sides. Big Stan sees a weaselly con artist who panics when he learns he’ getting sent to prison. The wimpy criminal hires a martial arts expert so he can avoid unpleasant encounters with fellow cons.
There’ cause for hope, though: the script’ written by Josh Lieb, who has worked on The Simpsons. So maybe this’ll be a laugh fest after all…
