Scene It? You probably have. It's a popular media-based trivia board game that's been available for years in numerous different editions. Even some On Demand cable plans have a free version. So what makes the Xbox 360 version special? Well for one, Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action has all new controllers for that ass. These little plastic pollywogs [bottom right] may not look like much, but remember: they're designed exclusively for this game, and more importantly, to work on an actual game system. Playing with a TV or DVD remote has always been a little clunkyand sluggish, so these one-handed doohickeys fare much better.
Above: Like a tyrannical producer, Scene-Itremoves entire actors in some modes. Oh, and the answer's Brazil
Not only does it run a helluva lot faster than any previous version, the party modecruises at a nearly perfect speed when compared with the slew of other party/trivia games available on numerous platforms. And it'd better - because this version packs in almost two thousand questions, and does a damned good job to avoid repeating them.
The 21 different puzzle varieties go above andbeyond simply naming an actor from the high definition movie clips. Sometimes you'll be asked to discern a gradually descrambling picture, while other times you'll be shown a scene and have to remember what color a shirt was, or how many times a word was said. This really levels the playing fieldduring group sessions, regardless of age, arcane knowledge and alcohol intake.
