Rumour: Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron to join Star Wars: Episode VII?
Gosling to play Luke Skywalker's son?
With this weekend's Star Wars celebration in Germany looming on the horizon, a couple of new casting rumours have emerged regarding Star Wars: Episode VII .
According to Latino Review , two very recognisable names are being considered for parts in the film in the form of Ryan Goling and Zac Efron.
No suggestion is made as to who Efron might be playing, although the site does posit that Gosling could be in line to play Luke Skywalker's son, with the story taking place some 30 years after Return Of The Jedi .
Many fans are hoping that there will be some sort of casting announcement at this weekend's celebration, if only the long awaited confirmation that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford will be returning,
If there's also an unveiling of some all-new cast members then so much the better! Directed by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to arrive in cinemas in 2015.
