The latest casting rumour regarding Doctor Strange has made its way online, with Badass Digest reporting that Marvel is eyeing Jared Leto to play the titular sorcerer.
According to the report, Marvel has been keen on Leto for some time, although whether the studio is close to extending him an offer remains to be seen.
Much will likely depend on the forthcoming appointment of a director for the project, with Scott Derrickson having been strongly linked to the position yesterday.
Should he sign on the dotted line, it is though Derrickson will have a major influence in the casting process, meaning a whole new raft of casting rumours are just over the horizon.
