An intriguing rumour has made its way online this morning, with Latino Review claiming that Zac Efron has been targeted by Marvel for a role in an unspecified project.
According to the report, Efron has not only met with the studio to discuss the role in question, he has also been given a script to look over.
As to what particular project this could be relating to, it's all guesswork, although one rumour is that the studio has Efron in mind to play Daredevil in its new Netflix TV show…
We'd argue its probably more likely to be relating to a big-screen project, especially since Efron's star is particularly high at the moment, with Bad Neighbours sitting atop the US box office.
Ant-Man , then? That would be one of the few movie projects to possess a full script, and is set to start shooting in the coming months. Watch this space...
